Solutions for Critical Raw Materials
The SCRREEN network is dedicated to support the European Commission in its criticality assessment and in shaping policies concerning critical raw materials.
The Horizon Europe project SCRREEN3 is a successor of the SCRREEN and SCRREEN2 initiatives, in alignment with the broader objectives of the EU’s strategic framework, notably the Critical Raw Materials (CRM) Act. Additionally, SCRREEN3 aims to enhance the comprehension and insight into all materials scrutinized within the framework of the CRM 2023 assessment, thereby enriching the repository of data and knowledge available for informed decision-making processes.
The ESM Foundation’s role in the SCRREEN3 network lies in the ongoing contribution to outlook reports and policy briefs on critical raw materials for the European Commission. For many years, we have additionally co-organized the Critical Raw Materials Day in a collaboration between the projects IRTC and SCRREEN.
