TRAVEL GRANT

Are you currently doing, or have you done, research in criticality – as a student, academic, professional or out of personal interest? ESM Foundation is awarding travel support (up to 2000 EUR) for junior researchers in the field. The focus of the research can be on topics such as:

• Criticality assessment
• Stocks and flows of REEs and other Critical Raw Materials
• Recovery, Urban Mining and other secondary sources
• Innovative approaches to reduce waste of Critical Raw Materials
• International collaboration on Critical Raw Materials

Winners will receive travel reimbursement to join the IRTC Round Table meeting at the 10th International Conference of the International Society for Industrial Ecology (ICISIE 2019) in Beijing on July 7, 2019, and will be invited to engage in the Round Table discussion. The Roundtable meeting is led by a panel of criticality experts from relevant universities and institutes in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

• Content of your research
• How your participation contributes to the IRTC Round Table
• How your proposal fits with ESM Foundation’s aims
