From October 2014 to January 2015, the ESM conducted an online survey about rare materials within the Swiss industry, following the model of a Dutch survey conducted in 2012 by the Materials innovation institute (M2i) and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) with the title „Critical materials and The Netherlands – a view from the industrial-technological sector”.
