The first IRTC conference in Lille will take place from February 15 – 17, 2023, and will be all about dialogue: moderated keynote conversations with international criticality experts will alternate with sessions comprising talks as well as further in-depth discussions with the presenters. The sessions will be chaired by multidisciplinary teams of experts. We look forward to welcoming a diverse and international mix of participants from a variety of backgrounds! In April 2017, the ESM team has experienced several changes. After almost 30 years, ESM president Dr. Bruno Walser and CEO Dr. Margarethe Hofmann resigned from their positions. The new president of ESM is Dr. Ernst Lutz, former advisor of ESM and member of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Lutz, after being CEO of the EIT Raw Materials from 2015 to 2016, is Vice Executive President at Grundfos in Bjerringbro, Denmark, but stays closely connected to his home country Switzerland.
